On this episode of Mind Sweep, we bring on Tyler Smith. On April 6th, 2018 Tyler was a part of an accident that rocked the hockey world; and also the whole country of Canada for that matter; to its core. That event was the horrific crash involving the bus carrying the Humboldt Broncos hockey team. 16 team and staff members lost their lives, and 13 members of the team injured. Tyler shares how he moved forward after, picking up the pieces and working through trauma. Two years later, he is now a national advocate for mental health and participates in initiatives all around the country.
